Description

VH-PVH125 is a self-crosslinking low smokezero halogen flame retardant polyolefin cable compound, which can be naturallycross-linked after being extruded into a cable. This product is mainly used forthe sheath and insulation of photovoltaic cables that comply with TUV2Pfg-1169and EN50618.

Additional Information

Processing Techniques/Extruding techniques

It is recommended to use a low smoke zero halogen special screw,with a length to diameter ratio of L/D=20~25 and a compression ratio of1.1~1.3. Because the actual temperature of the melt is related to the lengthdiameter ratio, compression ratio and screw structure of the extruder, theappropriate extrusion temperature should be selected according to the specificsituation of the extruder.

The recommended setting temperatures for each zone of theextruder are as follows:

Using Method

(1)When using this product, mix the A and B components evenlyand drop them into the hopper.

If color is required, the cable factory can use polyethylenebase color masterbatch and materials

within 8 hours after unpacking.

(2)This product should not be shut down for a long time. If itis shut down for a long time, it is

recommended to stop and clean the screw before starting upagain.

(3)To ensure sufficient crosslinking of the material, it isrecommended that the cable be placed in

a 70°C water bath or steam room for 6~8h, or at a constanttemperature and humidity (23°C, 50%)

for 7 days. The specific placement time is adjusted according tothe thickness of the product and

the crosslinking degree of the material, so as to meet theperformance requirements of the cable.
